END OF MAN

Today ends our series on End of man. Today we will look at what happens after physical death. When we say death, we have about three main deaths the Bible talks about: Physical death (Genesis 4:8), spiritual death (Isaiah 59:1) and the Second death (Revelation 20:14). Physical death is the separation of the soul from the body when God takes away the breath of life. The body is the dress of the soul that makes it able to live in this physical world. Before someone can be born, there is a certain process that goes on spiritually.

God puts the soul into the cell of the man’s sperm and carefully rounds up the body around the soul combining the ovum and the body of the sperm. This soul is what wins the race of those who needs to be born among the billions sperms the man ejaculates. No wonder God told Jeremiah that, He knew him before he was born because, it was Him who FORMED him in his mother’s womb. The process of forming the body around the soul takes God nine months. God is a God of time. If you have waited for Him to bless you with something, it pays to wait.

The spiritual death is when the soul is separated from God for a while before the body dies. This is what happened to Adam and Eve when they ate from the forbidden tree. The Bible says, they saw that they were naked and went to hid themselves from God. The second death is the lake of fire that will host Satan and his followers for all eternity which is a reserve place for eternal punishment for disobedience to God’s Word. Before physical death can take place, we have two separate faculties of angels who are tasked. The angel of death and Hades for God, and that of Satan.

God knows everyone who are His and Satan is also aware of those who are His. When you die and you are for God, He sends the heavenly angel of death to separate your soul from your body and then the heavenly Hades preserve your soul in Paradise for eternal life in New Jerusalem after Jesus’s second coming. When you die in your sins, Satan also sends the angel of death (Revelation 6:8) whom he won in heaven to separate your soul from your body. Hades who follow him also preserve your soul in the underground for eternal damnation in the lake of fire.
