HONOUR THE SON

David Abankwah

READ: Revelation 5:1-10

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

-John 5:22 | KJV

We have heard that the Antichrist is coming but the Antichrist is in operation now because he is a spirit. Before you can be influenced by the Antichrist, you have already given yourself to the spirit of deceit. Like God the Father has entrusted his judgement unto the son, Satan has also entrusted his authority, seat and power unto the spirit called Antichrist (Revelation 13:2). The major arsenal of the Antichrist is through deceit. The first word that Jesus Christ said we should be careful about as one of the signs of the end time is deceit (Matthew 24:3).

Deceit is the belief that, the truth is false and false is the truth. Today, there are so many researches going on, that says that, Jesus Christ is not the Messiah. There are so many religions now that claim they are worshipping God but it is never true. You can’t worship God if you don’t know Jesus Christ, His Son. If you know the Creator, you should also know the One through Him all things were made (John 1:3). If you know the Father, you should know the Son also. If you give honour to God, you must give honour to His Son also.

I have lived with people for quite a time. I experienced that, if you mess up with their children, they will always have a bone to pick up with you. To stay with them without creating any problems, you must honour their children. In your workplace, if you don’t honour your supervisor, your manager or whoever has been entrusted to you, you are indirectly dishonouring your boss. The moment you start dishonouring your supervisors and managers is the period you are heading towards the exit door. If you don’t know Jesus Christ, you don’t know God.

Many who will stand in the day of judgement will be surprised to see Jesus Christ seated on the judgement seat of God (2 Corinthians 5:10). In the day of the Lord, you will not see God, you will see Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:30-31) so be there and follow any leader and say I am worshipping God. You will die and go to hell. I am not judging you, that is what the Word of God says about those who don’t believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Revelation 21:8). What is more difficult: To believe in Jesus Christ and be saved or to dishonour Him and burn in the lake of fire?
