BE WISE

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Wisdom is key to everyday living. This is because, wisdom is the truth that guards the activities of the world (Proverbs 8:7, 12). For wisdom to exist before the world was created, it tells you how long wisdom had being and how beneficial the universe had gained. For the creation of the universe to be feasible, it was wisdom that was employed (Proverbs 8:22). Leaders cannot rule without wisdom (Proverbs 8:15-16), rightful judgement cannot be executed without wisdom (Proverbs 8:16) and counsellors cannot do their work if they don’t employ wisdom as their chairperson (Proverbs 8:14).
You can’t be rich and wealthy without wisdom (Proverbs 8:18). When you are wise, you will inherit substance (Proverbs 8:21). When you are wise, you will seek treasures and you will find them (Proverbs 8:21). Blessings become your portion when you are wise (Proverbs 8:34). When you are wise, you will always be one step ahead of the crowd (Proverbs 8:17).Those who are wise, attract their kind (Proverbs 8:17). Even for you to go to heaven, you need wisdom who is Jesus Christ (Proverbs 8:7-8, 13,18, 35-36). You just can’t forego wisdom because there are so many benefits you can reap when you are wise.
Knowledge is just the storehouse of information but wisdom is the practicality of knowledge. So, knowledge is useless until its application Basically, everyone is having information at the back of the twains, but how many are able to put those pieces of information together to make a meaning? Today, there are many believers who know many information about the Word of God, but how many of us are wise enough to put them into practice? The fact that you know the information that fornication is a sin, does not make you an abstainer. Like James said, don’t be the hearer but be the doer (James 1:22).
How many word of God have you heard? How many Word of God have you read? Have many Word of God have you watched being preached? But the question is, how many of them have you practised? How many of then have you shunned? Analyze yourself and judge and you will know your level of wisdom in the Lord. Knowing thousands of Bible verses does not make you righteous. Probably, Satan knows more than you do. What makes you righteous is the practicality of the knowledge you have. Make the wisdom do the talking in your deeds because action is wisdom.
