FALSE WITNESS

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Bearing false witness against someone is one of the variants of lies. One of the ‘normal sins’ the last generation of believers today encounter is to tell lies. Lying is a sin and we should treated cautiously. It is equally dangerous to lie than to commit idolatry or to commit adultery or to commit any abomination and be cursed. Before Yahweh, there is nothing like a ‘big sin’ and a ‘small sin’ and He counts against us each lie we commit, whether deliberately or unintentionally. We should then be very careful when it comes to matters of lies when we are approached with one and when we have the opportunity to say it to deliver ourselves from a problem that we have encountered.
The degree of physical punishment for each sin differs but the eternal punishment is still the same. Yahweh hates those who lie and everyone who lies will not have eternal life. When you have a problem telling the truth, note that you are a child of Satan. Satan has never spoken the truth before and his children never speak the truth. Note that, one lie is enough to send you into the lake of fire. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all LIARS, shall have their part in the LAKE WHICH BURNETH WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE: WHICH IS THE SECOND DEATH. -Revelation 21:8 KJV
When Yeshua Messiah was declaring to us the prophecies concerning the end times, He declared to us how common bearing false witness will be in our ages now. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. -Matthew 24:9 KJV. For one to be delivered up to the police and then be condemned in the court of law, there must be an evidence or a witness. For this reason, there are certain people who are paid to bear false witness against the defendant in the witness box just to enable the plaintiff win the case and the poor often become victimized.
When you probe into prisons now, you will discover that, there are so many of them who are there just because of false witness. There are so many people whose lives have been destroyed through suicide and madness just because they couldn’t withstand the shock of how their close friends and family borne false witnesses against them. Beloved, bearing false witness is as dangerous as murder. The consequences bearing false witness has landed many into troubles and terrible deaths, you have no idea. All those who bear false witness are enemies of God because He hates those who do that (Proverbs 6:16-19).
