HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH
David Abankwah
READ: 1 Timothy 5:8
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH.
-Galatians 6:10 | NKJV
The death of Jesus Christ had done mighty things. His blood has redeemed from from our physical families, tongues, people, tribes and nations and has ushered or initiated us into a spiritual family which is royal (Revelation 1:5-6). His blood has made us to be of a chosen generation, royal priesthood, holy nation and His own special people (1 Peter 2:9). Finally the blood has made us children of God, therefore a Christian and those who believe His name (John 1:12) do not hail from any earthly family but that of heaven (Hebrews 2:14).
For all the hard work of salvation Jesus Christ had done for us, there are certain believers who are still spiritually connected to their families. Their souls are still tied to the knot of this world which make them think and behave like worldly people. Until we empty the world in us, we can’t be households of the faith. Faith people behave in a certain way. Their ways are righteousness, holiness and sanctification. The blood of Jesus Christ marks them and the Spirit of God also testifies that indeed they are children of God.
Therefore when one is dealing with someone from the household of faith, one needs to be very careful. We are all humans but we are not the same! You might say you are God’s image and likeness what about you being His Son or daughter? There is difference between someone who hails from the corruptible seed of the first Adam and someone who also hails from the incorruptible seed of the second Adam. If you rise up against someone who hails from the household of faith (see touch not my anointed in 1 Chronicles 16:22) you are in trouble!
There are so many people who have been destroyed and killed just because they said someone bad or did something wrong against someone who is from the household of faith. That person may not be a Pastor or whatever but his or her status in this spirit demands goodness. Not all church-goers are households of faith but those who have repented, converted, born again through the blood of Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit and live their lives in all righteousness, holiness and sanctification. You can’t be a household of faith and still live in sin (1 John 3:9).

Lift up prayers for the blood of Jesus Christ to redeem you from every ties your soul has with your physical family and the world so you can practise the life of someone who belongs to the household of faith in Jesus name.
