IN HIS TIME
David Abankwah
READ: Revelation 11:18

He has made everything beautiful IN ITS TIME. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
-Ecclesiastes 3:11 | NKJV

From eternity to the beginning of the universe, it is God who created time. Time as an element, was very crucial in creation. What was created in the first day was different from what was created in the second or third day. Everyday and what God does. It is He who created His universe and set the principles He wanted to rule with. Man is not the judge over the things God had created and man cannot order Him to do things forcefully which are out of His time. We must therefore know His times and seasons so we can flow in the will of God. All days are not equal!

God had a particular time He normally came to visit Adam in the Garden of Eden. The Bible recorded it as ‘cool of the day’ or afternoon breeze of the day. Satan knew that if he could come before God and tempt man, he could cause them to fall before God comes. I believe Satan came in the morning to tempt man. So, by the time Satan finished all his work of temptation, God then came in the afternoon but it was too late for man. What are you using your time for? Are you using it for sin or righteousness? Time and tide waits for no man. Don’t waste your time! You may have today but you may not have tomorrow.

Make time count for the benefit of your soul before you pass out. Are you doing the ministry or you are behaving like the ungrateful servant who was so lazy and wicked too, hiding the talent he had been given (Matthew 25:25-26). We normally quote Ecclesiastics 3:11 expecting God to do things in His time for us, but what do we do for Him too? The time that He expected you to seek Him and serve Him, you used that time to do what you wanted and when things get out of hands, you then cry out to Him. God is a rewarder of those who DILIGENTLY seek Him and not only in times of need (Hebrews 11:6)

Everyone has a gift of time God has given to us. Some have 70 years, some have 50 years, some have 20 years, and some have 10 years. It is not mandatory for all to have 70 years before he or she will die. Because of eternity He can shorten your life to save you if you are a righteous person or one of the elects (Matthew 24:22). In His time is only beautiful for those who worship God in Spirit and in truth and not those who live in sin. The days of your youth (or time you are strong or healthy) is what you can do more for God. Make time count for your salvation so you will not regret for all eternity.
