GRATITUDE
David Abankwah
READ: Psalm 100:4

GIVING THANKS ALWAYS for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
-Ephesians 5:20 | NKJV

One of the most painful things in life is the display of ingratitude towards you especially concerning people God has helped them through you. They are the ones who repay evil for good. With all the good things done for them, they always find the bad spot to hit. They are experts when it comes to remembrance of the evil you have done against them. They have this notion that, if you can’t finish the goodness you have started for them, then don’t start at all. To them it is all about goodness and failure to do what they want will cause many unending troubles.

We channel the ingratitude we have for one another onto God too. With all the goodness God has shown towards us, many still find avenues to blame God. They are the ones who normally ask God why certain things are happening to them. They don’t understand why no one is proposing to them. They don’t understand why they are not riding in cars. They don’t understand why they are not living high standards of life. But what they are missing is that they have life. Life alone, is one of the most previous thing God can ever give to mankind.

What is the meaning of life if you marry a beautiful woman who is a witch or a handsome brother who is a demon? What is life if you ride in latest cars but have serious health issues? What is life if you have the whole world but loses your soul to the devil? Situations are not heightened when you are grateful to God for all circumstances but are, when you don’t. It is the will of God for us to accept who we are and what we have so we can have peace in our walks of faith. It is ingratitude that has led to transgenderism, bleaching, changing of hair, make-ups, penis enlargements and what have you.

God didn’t create you to be beautiful in your own eyes. He created you so you can please Him. Man is not a judge over the things God has created. If you are slim, be grateful. If you are tall, be grateful too. If you are white, be grateful. If you are black, be grateful too. If you ‘think’ you are beautiful, be grateful to God. If you ‘think’ you are ugly you are ugly be grateful to God. Don’t change any part of your body to please man. Ingratitude is a sin and those who engage in it will never enter the Kingdom of heaven.
