COVENANT OF PEACE

For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My COVENANT OF PEACE be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

A covenant is usually a formal, solemn, and binding agreement that is mostly a written agreement or promise usually under seal between two or more parties especially for the performance of some action. The highest kind of covenant is established through blood. Usually when two fornicating people are in lust and the ‘madness’ is on the apogee, they go the extreme of making blood covenants. One party cuts his blood and the other part also cuts hers and they mix. Sometimes they suck each other’s blood and make vows. The vows are not what is the issue but the blood.
This is because the life of the soul is in the blood (Genesis 9:4; Leviticus 17:11, 14; Deuteronomy 12:23). When people are in lust, they can do crazy things. Covenant is also established when one has sexual intercourse. One of the reasons why the Bible stresses on sexual immorality especially fornication and adultery is that, anytime you sleep with people, you make covenants with them spiritually. This covenant also in marriage is what makes two fleshes one. Or do you not know that he WHO IS JOINED TO A HARLOT IS ONE BODY with her? For “THE TWO,” He says, “shall become ONE FLESH.”

So for those of us who sleep with anything in skirts or trousers should revise their books. You are making a lot of covenants with people and when you marry, it will be very hard to be faithful to your spouse. A virgin who was once broken before marriage will forever the ex. The covenant that exists in marriage is not the ring but the day the couple meet in bed. Sex is not just the joining of two sex organs but the joining of two souls in agreement to a course. Christianity is also a marriage. Jesus Christ is the bridegroom and the members of his body are the bride because we are the church.
His blood He shed on the cross is the dowry He paid to Satan because he was the one who had all men married to him through sin. The price Jesus Christ paid was more than what Satan was expecting because the blood was priceless. The blood is what makes us have a covenant with Him and you can’t have a covenant with God and still have eternal life. Those who will make it to New Jerusalem are those who have a covenant with Jesus Christ through His blood. It is a covenant of peace because they will be exempted from the eternal damnation in the lake of fire.

Lord Jesus, I come before you today as a sinner, condemned to eternal damnation. I fully repent from all my sins and I promise not to return to my vomit. Please cleanse my soul with your blood and make a covenant of peace with me. Renew a rightful spirit within me and strengthen me to walk in your ways. Amen.
