MISSED CALL?

‘CALL TO ME, AND I WILL ANSWER YOU, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Many a time, we often quote Jeremiah 33:3, especially when we are desperately in need of certain favours from God or when we want God to solve situations beyond human solutions. Technology is there to teach us faith and not only there to make work easier and faster. You can be here at a point but will be able to communicate with someone you are not physically present with, on a device. Yet, we believe in such a communication more than the communication we have with God called prayer.
When it comes to prayers, certain believers’ faith toss like a simple pendulum. We often think we are the ones who call God. He also calls us. When we call God through prayer, we want to give Him work to do but when He calls us to give us work to do, we often want to do what we like first before responding to His call. There are many people who been declining God’s calls for so long. They intentionally wait for the call to end without responding. Some see the call and abort it. Some see it as a flash and never bother to call back. It is like they don’t have airtime.
Some see the call to be a waste of time because they think they have very important things to do (Luke 14:16-24). The small attitude we show towards God when He calls us, is the same attitude He shows to us when we call Him. Gabriel can tell God, ‘David is calling you. I think it is urgent’. And God will say, ‘He is now less busy? I know now needs me. He is not serious. When I needed him to practise righteous life, he was busy sinning. I don’t hear sinners but the righteous -John 9:31. Cut the line and let’s attend to Samuel’s call.’ It is not everyone God picks his or her call.
He only picks the calls of righteous people. Now we know that GOD DOES NOT HEAR SINNERS; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him -John 9:31 | NKJV. Many people hire righteous people as their lawyers in the spirit because they know God will not hear them. A child who fears to approach the father has done something wrong. The time has come for believers to stay away from all manner of sins and cling to the father through the acts of righteousness so anytime we pray, we can have 100% answered prayers.

Lift up prayers unto God for the strength to engage in all acts of divine worship and obedience to God’s will so you can come boldly towards His throne of grace in prayer and receive 100% answered prayers in the name of Jesus Christ.
