IN A HASTE!

And behold, I AM COMING QUICKLY, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
-Revelation 22:12 | NKJV
Christianity is all about speed. If you are not someone who is quick in doing things, you will be left behind. There are people who move with Jesus today and leave Him behind tomorrow. They pray today and go on commercial break for three months. When you ask them why?; they tell you that praying everyday doesn’t make you a Christian. There are people who go to church only on Sundays and even that one you have to call them days before and even beg them. Many think they are doing God a favour by serving Him so they are too slackened when it comes to the things of God.
There was a certain dream one woman had in our church and testified about it. She said that, she saw herself in a very big room full of people who were wearing white clothing. Some of them were sharing bread and some were also sharing peanuts which she was also inclusive. She didn’t understand so she decided to question the Master in charge. As she proceeded, she saw that, people were given certain certificates. Some were yellow, others were blue and what have you. She asked why certain people were given small things and others big things and the variety of certificates differ?
The Master who happened to be Jesus told her that, she is always late to church that’s why she was not quick to have what she was supposed to have been given. The only problem God had with her was her lateness to church. From the look of things, the number of times she had been to church were periods she went to church on time. We sometimes think sexual immorality, lying, idolatry, heresies and what have you are sins but there are small things we don’t pay attention to that are sins. When you are even slow concerning secular things, you will not even reach far and success will be far from you.
Jesus Christ was so quick to begin His ministry when He was 12 years old. He knew the work would be difficult to accomplish if He delayed time. I could not have written the books God told me to write if I delayed time. I could not have written the devotionals God inspired me to if I was slow. God can’t use a slow person to accomplish great things in ministry. The field is large and the work is great. It takes speed to finish. God has given you a work to do. Failure to finish it will cost your salvation. Jesus is coming quickly, how hastily are you prepared for His Second Coming?

Lift up prayers for deliverance from the spirit of slackness that influence you to procrastinate things which should have been done earlier in ministry and in life in the name of Jesus Christ.
