EVIL THOUGHT

The mind is a gift but if you don’t take care, it will destroy you. The kind of things singles think about, is more than the married who have so many responsibilities to do. The thoughts of marriage, job, worldly pleasures, quick success, good health, fame and what have you, have crumpled the love many singles should have had for the Lord. If a metre can be used to check the mind of many youths of today, then I guess a warning alert of danger would be issued. The dual lives many youths are living in make it difficult for the church to grow or even have a good future. This is because, many youths of today can’t have the Word of God in them.
They can’t even remember the sermon that was preached few days ago when you ask them, because the mind they should have had for the Lord is given to a certain guy or girl they are busily courting with. In the church, many youths have the people they want to marry in the minds which is not even the will of God. They choose at will because they know that so far as they had seen them in their dreams, they are the perfect matches for them. Not knowing that, what you think about can also influence your dreams. It is not all dreams that God reveals. Satan even reveals dreams if you don’t know.
If you are a Pastor and you don’t take a closer look at the youth, they will spoil the church. Many youths are filled with the lust of sexual immoralities. Virtually every youth has a partner. Woe betides you if you start mingling yourself with the person someone has in mind to marry. Satan knows that many young believers will not physically engage themselves in these acts so he has also made it a point in polluting their minds with all kinds of lustful thinking to the point that they can even have sex with people in their minds (Matthew 5:28). What do you normally think about as a youth?
Is it the Word of God or is it about money? Someone can sit in church but his mind is coding. He is sitting in church but his mind is doing business. She is sitting in church and her mind had also prepared food for her husband after church. A single can sit in church but his mind has married someone and they are living happily after. Wow! These are the people who point to their watches when the sermon is ongoing. These are the people who sleep when sermons are ongoing but they never doze when they are watching movies. This is where the church has reached to. The mind is taking many to hell!

Lift up prayers for deliverance from all evil thoughts that had crumpled the love of God in you. Lift up prayers for the undivided attention towards the things of God more than the things of the world in the name of Jesus Christ.
