CROSSROAD

READ: Proverbs 14:12
“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “turn to me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
-Joel 2:12 | NKJV
There are two roads in this world: The road or eternal life and the road of eternal damnation. The road of sin and the road of righteousness. The road of God and the road of Satan. The road of Jesus Christ and the road of money. The road of the Father of Truth and the road of the Father of all lies. The narrow road and the broad road. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. BECAUSE NARROW IS THE GATE AND DIFFICULT IS THE WAY WHICH LEADS TO LIFE, AND THERE ARE FEW WHO FIND IT -MATTHEW 7:13-14 | NKJV. After birth, everyone is given a free will to decide at the crossroad of good and evil.
It is then the responsibility of the parents to train the child so he can walk on the way of God (Proverbs 22:6). At the age of 12 years, God opens the eyes of the child to see these two roads. He becomes aware of the good road and the bad road because God rips apart the coverings of these two roads and opens the eyes of the child to this reality. THEN THE EYES OF BOTH OF THEM WERE OPENED, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings -Genesis 3:7 | NKJV. Because many parents don’t teach their children the right way they should go, many inadvertently, walk on the road of Satan.
But God is a good God He always sound the warning bells along the road of destruction. He has specifically designated the fivefold Ministry on the broad way so they can pull those who are walking on it out and place them on the narrow road. Yet, when many hear these warning bells, they say these Ministers are judging them. They respond that, the world is changing so they must also change. They say once saved is forever saved. They respond that, God is a merciful God and He won’t destroy the people He has created. They respond that, there is nothing like heaven and hell. This devotional message is one of the warning bells.
God is talking to us that, enough is enough! Enough of the sins! Enough of the iniquities! Enough of the abominations! Enough of the transgressions! Enough of the wickedness! God is saying we should TURN TO HIM. If we have followed Satan for a while, we should repent and be converted (Acts 3:19). If only we will turn to Him like the prodigal son in total repentance coupled with fasting, weeping, and with mourning, He will surely heal our broken souls and mend our broken hearts. Jesus Christ loves you that’s why you are still alive. Maybe today would be your last chance for your repentance because you only know today but tomorrow is an uncertainty.

Lift up remorseful prayers onto God to have mercy on you, pardon you, and cleanse you from all your sins, iniquities, transgressions, wickedness, and abominations in the name of Jesus Christ.
