DIVINE COMPANIONSHIP

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “WITH MEN this is impossible, but WITH GOD all things are possible.”

A life with God is a life of possibilities but a life with man is a life of impossibilities. A life with God is a life of sanctification but a life with man is a life of filth. A life with God is a life of righteousness but a life with man is a life of sin. A life with God is a life of holiness but a life with man is a life of iniquities, wickedness, abominations, and transgressions. A life with God is spiritual but a life with man is carnal. A life with God produces eternal life but a life with man ends in death. The destination of those who have fellowship with God is New Jerusalem but those who have fellowship with Satan is the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.
The question we have to ask ourselves is that, what keeps us company? What makes us happy? Which master do we serve? What keeps us entertained? Which spirit keeps our souls company? Unfortunately for many, they find God boring because they see Him to be a monotonous God who always want us to live right and who doesn’t seem to allow us to have space to enjoy ourselves or be adventurous enough. We came into this world naked and we will leave naked too. No one has ever taken his physical possessions from this world into eternity before. What then are many concentrated on their bodies and not their souls then?
If only we care for our souls, we will always have fellowship with our God, and we will be glad we do. Many don’t like the company of God at all. That is why when they read their Bibles they sleep but these same people can watch movies without dozing off. Those who love the company of us seek for Him in His house. There is no way you can stay at home when there is a church meeting. There is no way you will skip your quiet time just because you are late for work. There is no better time spending with someone than spending it with God. The One who holds your life in His right hand can terminate it at any time.
Never compromise the time you have to spend with Him. Never procrastinate your salvation. It is not only those who are sick that die but those who are healthy too. But after this world, you have the fullness of life and the hope of a better life eternally if you had company with God while on earth. God is the True Vine and we are His branches. Without Him, we can do nothing! Don’t go behind God’s back to seek for something and hope that you will find it. Don’t go behind His back and think that you can make it in life, Godliness and ministry. God is the thumb of light, for which you can’t go behind Him to make a knot of darkness with Satan.
