IS GOD BIASED?
David Abankwah
READ: Romans 9:15
As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”
-Romans 9:13 | NKJV
It all happened when twins came from the same womb of Rebecca, Isaac’s wife. God loved Jacob but Esau, He hated, but it was Him who had created them all. Jacob finally became Israel and the descendants of Esau became Edomites who later became Gentiles. God had chosen Israel to be His prime country even until now. When the Son of God came, the disciples that He chose, none of them was a Gentile. All of them came from Israel. He even said to one Gentile that, it was not worthy to feed her with the food of Israelites. She even termed her as a little dog (Matthew 15:26). So the question remains: Is God biased towards certain people or not?
From the beginning of the world, there were people God had already written their names in the Book of life and people He had destined them to have their part in the lake of fire. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world -Revelation 13:8 | NKJV. God already knows His sheep and His sheep also knows Him. Jesus Christ once said that all of those His Father gave onto Him did not perish except the Son of perdition. Why is it that God is the One who created all of us, but some are the elect and some are sons of perdition? Have you pondered on this before?
To say God is biased is to say man is also biased because He created us in His own image and likeness. You will bear with me that, there were many ladies in the world but you chose one and married her. You will bear with me that, there were many people who applied for a job in your firm but you only chose some and rejected some. So were you biased towards other women or employees? One thing we need to understand is that everyone has a choice or his preference. There are things you like and things you dislike. That is what God is. There are things He likes and things He hates. God likes righteousness and hates sin. He is a Holy God who has given man self-will to make his choices or decisions.
God also has His a will. The will of God is what makes Him prefer certain people over others. It all boils down to preference or choice. Another answer to God being biased is that, He is a sovereign God. No one can dictate to Him what to do and what not to do. His will in heaven is what operates on this earth. Another answer to God being biased is that, the life you live is the approach He will give to you. If you live a righteous life, you will become His child. If you live a sinful life you will become His enemy. Israel is His prime country but the Israelites who will not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Master and practise righteous life thereof, will not have eternal life.

Lift up prayers for the awareness, understanding, and acceptance of the operation of the will of God in your life as it is in heaven in the name of Jesus Christ.
Quote
God is not biased, just that, He is justice.
