THE MIND REGULATOR

The mind is an integral part of your salvation. What you think about most times is your true identity. When you think about how to make a lie most times, there is no doubt that you are a liar. When you think about how to have illegitimate sex with people for money, then you are a sexually immoral person and a prostitute. When you wake up in the morning, all your thoughts is about strategic plans to fraud people or dubious means to make money, then you are a thief. When you always think about how to abort children for your patients as a health worker, with the intent that, that is what you have specialised in to make money, then you are a murderer.
Christianity is a nation of calling. When you are not called you can come into it at your own will but eventually you will leave in the long run (Matthew 22:11-12). What makes it mysterious is that those who are even called are not guaranteed of eternal life until they had overcome (Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 2:26; 3:5, 12, 21; 21:7). This is because, you can start well in Christianity but if care is not taken in your walk of faith and race of eternal life, you will lose the tenacity which is required to make ends meet. The end is what also justifies the means as the old sage goes. The church of Galatia started well in the Spirit but were ending in the flesh (Galatians 3:3).
They thought that they could serve Jesus Christ who had called them with the law and not through the faith they should have had in Him and the works thereof. Today that’s what many believers think. They still have the intent that, the Mosaic laws are what can assist them to have eternal life and not through the faith in Jesus Christ. That is the reason many religions have been abound in our generation and diverse doctrines in many churches too have come. The One who regulated our minds when we were in the world through His calling into His marvellous light, is Jesus Christ and it is His doctrine that must rule the church.
There are so many people who are in the world whose minds have been conformed to the world by Satan (2 Corinthians 4:4). Until their minds are regulated through the glorious light of the Gospel, they can never be born again. Also, there are so many believers who have not given their minds to our Lord Jesus Christ to regulate them. That is why judgement will begin in the house of God. Jesus Christ is aware that many believers have not truly repented through the renewing of their minds. That is why He has set a day to judge everyone who didn’t give Him the chance in their lives to regulate their minds through His Word for them.

Lift up prayers and commit your mind to the Lord to bring your mind under subjection to His control and direction in all manner of holiness in the name of Jesus Christ.
