One of the main differences between angels is that a fallen angel demands worship from man and an angel of God expects man to worship God alone. When Apostle John saw and heard all the things the Angel of the Lord showed and told him, he wanted to worship the angel but he entreated him to worship God alone. ⁸Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. ⁹Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” -Revelation 22:8-9 | NKJV
Another difference between angels is that an angel of God serves man or is sent to man for a task either a constructive of a destructive purpose and a fallen angel demands service from man. Instead of a fallen angel serving you, you are the one who will rather serve his purpose. This is the reason why man became a target when Satan and the fallen angels were overthrown from heaven. Satan through the spirit of lust, wanted men (God’s images) to be slaves of them that was why he caused man to fall. The fallen angels always want God’s images to serve their rebellion régime, that is why sin is so rampant in the world today. No person can commit sin without the influence of an evil spirit.
In that case, a sinner is a slave of the evil spirit controlling him or her. If someone is a chronic fornicator, the spirit of sexual immorality is influencing the soul to serve his purpose. If someone is a thief, murderer and liar, the spirit controlling the person is Satan. But that should not be the case, because angels are not created to be served but to serve. But there is one person angels of God and fallen angels worship and serve. His name is Jesus Christ. Satan, a fallen angel served Jesus Christ when He sent him to tempt Job (Job 1:6-12; 2:1-7). Lying spirit also served Jesus Christ when they were sent to deceive Ahab (1 Kings 22:19-23).
It does not happen for angels to worship men even for the angels of God when they are sent to destroy men, they show no mercy. Angels of God attend to men as they are sent and nothing more. When Zachariah wanted to know how would the message be, Gabriel made him mute for nine months. When King David counted Israel and the angel of God was sent to destroy Israel, he didn’t show mercy. If angels of God even did these things, how can they worship anyone. But when a baby whose name was called Jesus Christ was born, angels came down from heaven to worship Him and even announced His birth to Shepherds.

Lift up prayers for the Spirit of might to overcome the temptations of evil spirits so you will not conform to the system of the world in the name of Jesus Christ.
