EXCOMMUNICATION

Excommunication deals or purges evil or immoral people from the midst of the church setting as an example for the other congregation to stay away from such people or such act, or refrain from bad company. Evil communication corrupts good manners. If you are a believer, your social life also needs repentance. You can’t hang out with your former boyfriend or girlfriend. You can’t hang out with your old worldly friends. You can’t hang out with your old life. The reason you can’t be a Christian is because of evil communication. You still have affiliation with old worldly ties. Until you part ways with such friends and media, you will always fall and think you are still a ‘Christian.’
For the title ‘Christian,’ you can call yourself with it or other people can even call you that, but if you are not at par with Jesus Christ in terms of holiness, sanctification, and righteousness, please drop that title. The word ‘Christian,’ is not an appellation for baby believers, hypocrites, lukewarm people or unrepentant churchgoers. ‘Christian’ is one of the most abusive words in the church. Another sect of people who are eligible for excommunication are those who are rebellious, profligate, and drunkards. A rebel is not someone who wants to overthrow a government or whose words is a matter of treason. A rebel in the sight of God is someone who doesn’t obey the Word of God.
A rebel is someone who attacks the Word of God. A rebel is someone who always think the Word of God being preached to his or her hearing is for someone else and not him or hers. A rebel is someone who weighs the preacher or the teacher and discard the Word because he or she thinks the preacher or the teacher is not at the standard to deliver such a message. I know many people don’t take the Word God delivers through me seriously thinking, I am not coming from their church or I am not at the ministerial position such as an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, Pope, Archbishop, Bishop or an Eminent. Who are you to question God the vessel He has to use to deliver His Word?
If an animal could preach to a Prophet, how much more is it difficult for God to speak through any vessel? Rebels are filled in the church of late that is why repentance is always a challenge for many church members. It is because of rebellion that is why many can’t convert from their old life. It is because of rebellion that is why many church goers hide behind grace as the license to sin. When you reach the level of rebellion, no amount of deliverance can save you. It is the stage that makes one’s conscience seared for damnation. It is the stage of rebellion that Lucifer and one-third of the angels got to, that made them eligible to be excommunicated from heaven.

Lift up prayers for repentance from rebellion and the grace of God to keep you out of the reach of rebellion towards His Word so you can obey the Word of God always in the name of Jesus Christ.
