THE FIVEFOLD MINISTRY

“For many are called, but FEW ARE CHOSEN.”

Many are called to be believers but few will be chosen to be Christians. The first shall be the last and the last shall be the first. Christianity is like a field for justification. Many players are called to justify themselves to be scouted by professional football clubs but only few will be selected. Likewise, many people are called by God into the church. Some are believers. Some are church-goers. Some are hypocrites. Some are lukewarm people. Some are unbelievers. Some are evil spirits who have taken the form of flesh. It is through divine selection that one can be a Christian. God knows His sheep and His sheep also know Him.
Again, we are all in the church, but it is God who also chooses some to fill in the seats of the fivefold ministry. There are other ministries which are miracles, gifts of healings, helps, government, and diversities of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:28). Because Christianity is a nation, we have one King ruling us who is called Jesus Christ, but He has chosen certain Kings to rule or preside over His people (church who are also kings). That is why Jesus Christ is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OR LORDS, because He also rules over the Kings He has chosen to preside over His church. These chosen Kings are called the FIVEFOLD MINISTERS.
In physical terms, a king is not selected by election. No one can become king just because he feels he is tired of being a subordinate. That is why you can’t go to Bible school and think that you are chosen by God to rule His people. Many ministers are doing the work of God not by selection but by their self-will. There is a difference between someone who is chosen and someone who also wants to do the work. The fivefold ministry is not just an office as many know about it, but they are seats. Kings have their thrones they sit on. Those who also wants to do the work of God by going to Bible school and not by divine selection, have no ministerial seats.
Because you don’t have a seat, you will often fall. You will often get discouraged. You will not be directed to do ministry and feel like God is not on your side. You may be prosperous physically but you will be spiritually bankrupt because you will think that true blessing is riches and wealth and not the Holy Spirit (Revelation 3:17). Because you are not chosen, you will often be money conscious and not soul conscious. You will often be selfish and not selfless. There are evil spirits that rise up against the five-fold ministries. So, if you call yourself one of the fivefold Ministers, then be ready to face the evil spirits that rise up against such Ministers through serial temptations.

Lift up prayers and intercede for those God has called to rule in the seats of the fivefold ministries so they can have the tenacity to complete in the Spirit and not in the flesh in the name of Jesus Christ.
