THE EVANGELISTIC SEAT

SERIES: Day 10

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some EVANGELISTS, and some pastors and teachers,
-Ephesians 4:11 | NKJV

The people God usually choose to be Evangelists, are mostly leaders of church denominations. Even at certain times, God can also choose national, continental, and worldly Evangelists. Because Evangelists are tasked by God to win souls, God makes them head church denominations so the lost souls can be pastored and taught by other Ministers. God lifts Evangelists up and makes them known to the world. For those who are chosen by God to be Evangelists are mostly legitimate children and not bastards. You can’t also go to a Bible school and be anointed or ordained as an Evangelist. You are not the one who can choose or ordain people to sit on the seat of ministry.

If we quote ‘many are called but few are chosen,’ it is only God who chooses those who need to be His Ministers because Jesus Christ is the President of Christianity. Many people are ordained as Ministers but God doesn’t know them. When God chooses certain people to be Evangelists, He imparts into them wisdom. He also imparts into them knowledge on how they can teach their listeners. God makes Evangelists seek out and ponder on proverbs in their preaching. God also makes them seek how they can find acceptable words to preach and save the lost with. The words of Evangelists are like goads and like well-driven nails which admonish the people.

There is no salary in evangelism. You can’t be an Evangelist and seek to be paid by men. You don’t become an Evangelist and have the vision of money because Evangelists are soul-minded. Those who are Preachers and not Evangelists, preach, but many people don’t pay attention to their message. This is because the anointing of Evangelists that needs to pull the crowd to them is not there. When you are a Preacher and not an Evangelist, you can easily fall because you don’t have the protection that Evangelists have. Evangelists are no respecter of persons. Their message cuts across the four corners of the globe: North – the great; south – the small, right – lukewarm believers, hypocrites, and believers, and left – religions.

Because the message cuts across all and most especially to the great, they often face physical persecutions, afflictions, insults, rejection, and no sponsorship. To tell people point blank that what they are doing is not right, many people don’t like that. They want Evangelists to take them aside and pamper them with the truth. So in the church, Evangelists are not mostly given the privilege to preach because the elders think they will scatter the members abroad with their hardy truths. Also, they often face opposition from evil spirits but because of the grace they have, they are secured. Those who don’t understand the message of Evangelists are people who are not matured in the spirit.

•| Prayer Diary |•
Lift up prayers for the Spirit of wisdom and knowledge for Evangelists to speak to the people with proverbs and messages of salvation that will be finely driven nails in their hearts for repentance in the name of Jesus Christ.

Quote
The message of Evangelists are like goads and well-driven nails that admonish their listeners.
