Many people ask why is it that makeups is a sin? If you don’t know the Bible that is the question you will ask. Many believers glance though the Bible like a storybook but instead of them allowing themselves for the Holy Spirit to teach them, they only rely on what their Pastors tell them. Even the messages of Paul an Apostle of Jesus Christ was crosschecked by the Bereans, how much more our Pastors? If you only depend on what is being said on the pulpit and you don’t crosscheck or seek out the Spirit with your whole heart for Him to teach you the truth of God’s Word, then, you may be deceived. It is not everyone who stands before you as a Shepherd who is true. Some are false.
Many Pastors are anointed by the devil to throw dust into the eyes of the congregation, telling them makeups is nothing. God only looks into the heart and not your appearance. We were told by God in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:17) that we should not covet our neighbour’s house, spouse, servant, animal, or any possession anyone else have. We can see that, God was talking about animate (things that have life) and inanimate (things that do not have life) in Exodus 20:17. Now if it is established in the Bible that, coveting anything that has life in it or not, is a sin in the sight of God, then let us move on to the discussion why MAKEUPS is the sin of covetousness.
To covet is to have an inordinate taste desire for the possession of another. Before people do makeups they have seen what person A or B is having that they are not having. Maybe person A is fair in complexion, possess aquiline nose, longer eyelashes, eyebrows and what have you. That desire to be like that person is the reason why people do makeups. Altering your body state into that which God didn’t create you to be is makeups. When we talk about makeups, many people think it is women who do makeups but men also do it unaware. God naturally didn’t give you beard but why are you trying applying cosmetics to get your beard to grow unnaturally? That is makeups.
God didn’t create us to possess the same thing. Some are taller, stronger, and gorgeous than others. If you do anything to alter your body state, that is makeups. Transgenderism – makeup for an unnatural sex covetousness, penis size enlargements – makeup for a covetousness of a larger penis size, body therapy to change the natural shape of your body – makeup for the covetousness of an unnatural body shape, mRNA covid-19 vaccine to alter the body’s DNA into that of the image of Satan (Revelation 13:15) – makeup for the covetousness of the image of Satan’s identity and RFID chip – 666 makeup for material possessions and worldly comfort (buy or sell).

Lift up prayers for contentment concerning the things you possess so you will not be filled by covetousness concerning the things you lack in the name of Jesus Christ.
