CUBITS OF STATURE

Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
-Matthew 6:27 | NKJV
Jesus Christ saying in Matthew 6:27 that worrying cannot add one cubit to our stature goes beyond just something we need that worrying cannot get us but a new commandment concerning what we need to know about altering or changing what God has done concerning how He has created us to be. We are created in the image and the likeness of God. And we are His temples. Any alterations or change about our appearances were predetermined by God during our creation. Therefore we have no right to alter anything God has made (thus adding one cubit to our stature). We cannot introduce anything to or into our bodies that should destroy it because we will be judged.
We are stewards of our bodies and one day we will stand before God. So, everything we did with our bodies or allowed others to use it the wrong way, will be judged. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad -II Corinthians 5:10 NKJV. It is because of worry and fear of the unknown that leads people into all kinds of social vices so they can meet their needs. Some believers misuse and mistreat the body and later on when they have become sick beyond treatment, they blame God for it. God heals but don’t give Him any healing job to do if you are so careless.
Christianity is also about the body and not about the soul only. God wants us to be both spiritually sanctified and physically sanctified (cleanliness). When you become sick, it is difficult to fast, pray, or even read your Bible. Even though the body will rot in the grave, you can’t use the body anyhow or treat it anyhow and expect God to be okay with it. Don’t eat anyhow. Don’t dress anyhow. Don’t talk anyhow. Don’t think anyhow. Don’t behave anyhow. Adding one cubit to your stature includes: tattooing (example accepting the RFID chip for the identification of the covid-19 vaccination into your body as the mark of the beast), makeups, transgenderism, bleaching etc.
Worry has led many believers into the attempt of pushing with their own might through for the things they need without the leadership of the will of God. Instead of waiting on God, they think God is delaying. So they are adding their own cubits to their stature by saying, the heavens help those who help themselves but it is not in the Bible like that. God saves His anointed ones (Psalms 20:6) and not those who don’t need God. We shouldn’t do anything all by ourselves especially when it has to do with our needs and leave God behind. By strength shall no man prevail and even if we ever have any strength for certain success, it was God who gave us that power to make wealth.
