DIVINE AWARENESS

For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

In Galatians 3:28 and Colossians 3:11, Paul puts it that when we are in the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no Jew, Gentile (Greek), slave, free, circumcised, uncircumcised, but what was Jesus Christ still making reference to believers as Gentiles in Matthew 6:32? Well, there are people who are believers but they are still Gentiles. Before Jesus Christ came to save the whole world, He was first the God of the Israelites but He planned of having more children (Gentiles). The first and major plan was to save the lost sheep of Israel (Matthew 15:24) but they didn’t accept Him (John 1:11) which He knew would happen, and that gave access for the salvation of those who are non-Jews (Gentiles) -John 1:12.
If you say you have come into the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please let your focus be on eternal life. If you let your attention shift onto any other thing, you inadvertently become a Gentile in the sight of God, no matter how you pray, fast, read your Bible or go to church. The first point of call for Christians is faith. If you miss faith, your works become useless! Without faith that God knows what you need and that He can provide for you, you are no more pleasing in His sight. It is faith in God that makes us please Him (Hebrews 11:6). If you come into Jesus Christ, He abhors doubting and double minded believers. Be sure of your stand in Him and flow in the call of eternal life.
Jesus Christ is ever aware of everything you need. It is not you who will tell Him to do His responsibilities as a heavenly Father. But lack of faith and familiarity is what belittles Him. If Jesus Christ could create the universe and everything within it, what proof again do you want from Him that He is more than capable of providing for you? It is the faith of Gentiles in other things other than God, that makes them seek after things that are perishable. If you have faith in God, you won’t worry yourself with material needs because you know of a better future beyond this present world. If Jesus Christ calls me home now, I will never think twice. I will grab the offer with both hands.
I know the call of Christians is not because of money, job, wife/husband, fame, prosperity or any other thing. The call of Christianity is eternal life and that is what we must all seek as believers. We shouldn’t let the worry of those who don’t know the Lord influence us. If we are in the Lord, we shouldn’t be fret because of the prosperity of sinners. If they seek after physical needs, we should rather be assured in our Lord Jesus Christ that He has got us covered. Our Lord and God Jesus Christ is ever aware of what we need before we even ask and He is more than able to provide for us. Let us have faith in Him and serve Him well and He is never going to fail us.

Lift up prayers for the divine awareness and surety of the providence of God so your faith in Him will not belittled in the name of Jesus Christ.
