THE NATURE OF DOGS AND SWINES

“Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
-Matthew 7:6 | NKJV
If what is holy cannot be given to dogs and pearls not given to swines, lest they trample them under their feet and turn and tear you in pieces, then we need to know more about the nature of these two animals. As humans, it is not in God’s interest to compare us to animals because we were not created in the images and likenesses of animals or plants but the image and likeness of God. God wants to compare us to Him but when we go to the extreme of doing things that are beastly, He has no other choice than to shame us. It is not good to tell people they are fools, but when people do things that are foolish, then they have to be addressed as such. If you behave beastly, then you are inhuman.
What is holy cannot be given to dogs because they eat their own vomits. They are such believers who return to the world, backslide or fall after they have been saved by Jesus Christ. They still sin and return to ask for forgiveness. They see sin as something they can’t do without because they think no one is perfect. They don’t see sin as a vomit they can’t eat or something nasty they can’t get nearer. What is holy cannot be given to dogs because they are seen as animals who are champion fornicators. Prostitutes are linked to dogs because of their shamelessness of practising such business in public and inability of stopping sexual immoralities when necessary.
Dogs work for their masters but they don’t benefit from the fruit of their labour. And apart from their master they have no honour. Don’t work for the devil through the act of sin. He will use you to work for him and what you will be paid in return will be death. Dogs sometimes miscalculate their judgement in barking for they bark when they need not and keep mute when they have to. We should judge by righteousness and justice and not through biasness and corruption. You can’t cast pearls before swines because whatever soap or detergent you use to clean them, they will return to their dirt. Swines are unhygienic animals. They tell you it is not your soap and water that can make them clean.
Such people believe that, the blood of one person is not enough to sanctify the whole world. Even some believers don’t even have faith in the blood of Jesus Christ that after they are sanctified, they can’t sin anymore. Because of the fat of swines, they think they are not afraid of death. Such people depend on the material things they have and they think they don’t need God. But when the death they think they are not afraid of, comes, then they realise they are unprepared to face it. Swines dig their mouths into dirt in search of food. People of such nature do evil jobs just to make a living. Believers of this nature hunt for material things and not eternal life that they were called for.
