FOR EVERYONE

FOR EVERYONE who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

In Matthew 7:8, it seems everyone who asks, seeks, and knocks shall get what he or she wants, but that is not the case. There are things when you don’t even ask from God, He will surely provide; physiological needs such as food, water, clothing, and shelter. Sinners don’t even bother themselves asking these things from God, yet, they prosper in these things. Sometimes these sinners are those who own big companies and they even employ believers to work for them. Because they don’t know God, certain rules and regulations of their firm go against the laws of Christ. Before some even employ, unless you bribe your way through. Some even have to sleep with you before.
Even when they employ you without any condition, they can use you and they will not even pay you well. They can even prevent you from going to church when you have to, by keeping you with overtime. God can’t cast His good things to those who are sinners. He has no business answering prayers of those who are dogs and swines. God draws nearer to those who do His will. He answers prayers of saints. John 9:31 says that: Now we know that GOD DOES NOT HEAR SINNERS; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him -John 9:31 NKJV. Don’t be deceived that Jesus Christ said everyone who asks, seeks and knocks will get what he or she wants.
That ‘everyone’ stands for worshippers of God and those who do His will. Many people after realising that everyone can pray to God for Him to answer, waste their time praying for things they will never get. If you have no relationship with God and obey His Word, your prayer is even an abomination to God. One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, EVEN HIS PRAYER IS AN ABOMINATION -Proverbs 28:9 NKJV. Make sure you accept Jesus Christ into your life and obey all His commandments. He promises of eternal life that is greater than all the material things that are temporally. If God blesses you with all material things, you will one day die and leave them all.
When King Solomon asked God of wisdom, He added riches to him. Anytime there is a cordial relationship between you and God, even the things you don’t even ask, seek, or knock for, are given to you. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” -I Corinthians 2:9 NKJV. If you have cordial relationship with God, don’t waste your time praying for material things. Channel your prayers rather on spiritual things especially the Holy Spirit and His anointing. He is the only request you can have as your inheritance even after you die. There is nothing in this world that can profit your soul except Jesus Christ, His Word, and His Spirit.

Lift up prayers for the grace to maintain a cordial relationship with God, to worship Him and to do His will so when you ask, seek, and knock for the things you need and want, He will hear you in the name of Jesus Christ.
