HELL/HADES/SHEOL

When the topic of Hell or Hades is raised, those with the view that, once saved is forever saved, think that it is not nice or important to treat it because it looks like you are scaring people to be holy out of fear. It is not because of fear that this topic needs to be treated but Hell or Hades is a reality and at least people have to know that there is a spirit like that. If the rich man had ever heard that there was a spirit after death called Hell, I believe he would have turned a new leaf. I entreat every holy-minded Minister to continue preaching and teaching this topic of Hell, so we can be cautious and conscious of Hell so no one can be ignorant and perish thereof.
Hell is not a place. Hell is a spirit. Hell was unleashed when Jesus Christ broke the fourth seal. When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and HADES followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth -Revelation 6:7-8 NKJV. Hell was seen following Death because after physical death, the next spirit is Hell/Hades. Hell’s work is to contain the souls of sinners when physical death kills them (separate their souls from their bodies).
Jesus Christ didn’t only die for the living but the dead too. The souls of sinners who died before Jesus Christ, were graced with a second chance to repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour so they too could have eternal life, making Jesus Christ, the Lord of both the living and the dead (Romans 14:9). Also, for the saints to pass from death to life, the sting of death, and the victory of Hades had to be crushed by Jesus Christ fulfilling Genesis 2:15. The strength and salvation of God is His Word and Spirit forming the Trinity of the kingdom of light and the sting and victory of Satan (representing the head of the serpent in Genesis 2:15) is Death and Hades.
Moreover for Jesus Christ to have the right to judge the living and the dead, He first had to have access to the keys of Death and Hades, so He could judge death, hell/hades and everyone who died without knowing the Lord (Revelation 1:18) so John 5:22 can be fulfilled. Hades/Hell being the temporal place reserved for the soul of sinners is of great torment and agony. Jesus Christ who once went to Hell/Hades to do a three days crusade, is not going there again, because the Gospel is preached to your hearing day in and day out. If you choose to go there, it will be based on the sinful life you lived while on earth. No one goes there by chance. Until we die, we have the second chance to skip Hell.
