LIVING BY FAITH

Now the just shall LIVE BY FAITH; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”

Having faith in God is the first most important thing in Christianity. This is because it is the heart that must first believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that God raised Him from the dead. It is after this faith that the mouth should also confess. Without faith, confession is irrelevant. Another thing about faith is that, without it, it is impossible to please God. The Bible didn’t say, without peace, patience, kindness, goodness, going to church everyday, etc, you can’t please God. It said faith. If God is not pleased with you, shows that you are not His child. Having doubts and being double mind about who God is and what He can do, shows that you are a sinner and God cannot be your Father.
Those who serve God, must pass through faith to achieve everything. If you truly have faith in God, then you would have based everything you have on it. Yourself and the things you have must be the expression of the faith you have. This is because your life must speak for the faith you have. Many believers claim they have faith in God, but they don’t live by that faith. Other religionists are very bold to live and stand by their faith to death, but when it matters most in Christianity, many believers fumble. Faith in God is the expression of works. Faith is not dormant; faith is not silent; faith is not dead; faith is not hidden; faith is fruitful; faith increases, faith grows, and faith is lived.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. You can’t have hope without faith because the stepping stone of faith, is hope. It is the hope we have in God that makes us have faith in Him. We have hope that God is there even though we can’t see Him, but the creations express the Creator, for nothing exists without a Creator, and that is why we have faith in Him that He truly exists. We have hope in God that He has prepared a place called New Jerusalem for all those who will do His will and that is why we have faith in Him that we will go there one day. We have hope that God can provide all our needs and that is why we believe that He is the Jehovah Jireh.
We have hope in God that He is Supreme above any other man, angel, living and non living things and that is why we have faith in Him that, He is Jehovah ElShaddai, and He can deliver us from any devil who operates us. We have hope in God that He can make us holy with His previous blood and that is why we have faith that, we too can be holy for He is the Jehovah Tsidkenu. You can be just if you walk by faith (Hebrews 10:38) because it is the faith that will make you believe that you too can be holy before God. Holiness is the ultimate goal and faith is the first step that can enable you work it out. If you have ever faith in God, you will never say no one is perfect.
