“This month shall be your BEGINNING OF MONTHS; it shall be the FIRST MONTH OF THE YEAR TO YOU.

If time begun, it was Jesus Christ who created time. Jesus Christ is the God is times and seasons. The first thing God did in the beginning was the creation of time before the earth and the heavens. Before the earth and heavens came into existence, time had first been born. God is a God of times and seasons. Many believers say God’s time is the best but they insult God anytime there is first of April. They call it April fool and they use it to do pranks. Do you know what you are doing or you are just ignorant of it? If you don’t want any problem with God, don’t joke with first things. The first month of the year is not January. It is rather April (Abib) -Exodus 12:2 and it’s the leader of all the months.
Every first thing God created is a leader and it is a blessing to be a leader. But it was from the beginning of creation that Satan started attacking the first things of God. He tried to attack the system of divine order in heaven, because he was not convinced God was the firstborn of all things (Colossians 1:15) and His leader. The exalting of his throne above the stars of God and sitting on the mount of congregation by Lucifer (Isaiah 14:13) was a desire to nullify the leadership of God so he can be the first or leader of all things. When that plan backfired and he was overthrown to the earth, he came to attack another first thing created by God called Adam in the Garden of Eden.
He succeeded by causing the fall of Adam – the first man through Eve and from that time he has succeeded over many first things of God. He overcame Cain the firstborn of Adam, Esau the firstborn of Isaac, Reuben the firstborn of Jacob among many others. Now he has succeeded by attacking the first thing during creation called time and has changed it (Daniel 7:25), by making January the first month of the year instead of April (Abib). The devil has deceived the world that the first things of God are not good. He has deceived the world that the first world and things He created was not good so he is bringing a new world order to correct the mistakes of God.
He has made the world believe that Adam who was the firstborn of all men fell so no one can be perfect as God is. The devil has made the world believe that, firstborns are fools and timid and that they cannot be used for any proper thing. The devil has influenced many parents to love younger siblings more than firstborns. The devil has made the world believe that tithe which is the first one-tenth of your gross income should not be paid to Pastors but rather the poor and needy. But thanks be to Jesus Christ who became the firstborn of the living and the dead and triumphed over Satan. The month of Abib is a special month because it was when we were redeemed.
