SEXUAL IMMORALITY

But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, SEXUALLY IMMORAL, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

One of the major causes of excommunication in the church, is one sin called sexual immorality. Sexual immorality is a tree that has many branches of fornication, adultery, homosexuality, bestiality, incest, virtual sex (phone sex, sex in the mind, etc), pederasty, oral sex, anal sex, masturbation etcetera. These branches bear many evil fruits such as gonorrhoea (Neisseria gonococcus), syphilis (Treponema pallidum), Non-Specific Urethritis (Chlamydia trachomatis), liver diseases (Hepatitis “B” virus), Herpes Genitalis (Herpes simplex type II virus), Vaginitis (Trichomonas vaginalis), Lymphogranuloma venereum, soft sore or Chancroid (Haemophilus ducreyii).
Sexual immorality is a sin punishable by many curses. Other fruits of sexual immorality include urinary tract infection, cancer of the cervix (which inflicts women when they have frequent sex at an early age predisposing them to cancer of the cervix) and HIV/AIDS. (Human immunodeficiency virus / Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome). These are a few dangers of engaging in sexual immorality. If you don’t believe that God is there, this is one of the proofs of His existence or reality because He punishes those who engage in such acts. Romans 6:23 was not written in the Bible for fun. Everyone who engages in sexual immorality is on his way to the second death (Revelation 21:8).
If you read Deuteronomy 28:15-68, you will get a clearer picture of what God does to people who sin. God is not only the God of love and mercy, or the God of grace. He is also a God of Justice. When you break the law, you will certainly suffer the consequence before the court of the 24 elders. God as the Judge passes the final punishment. God hasn’t judged anyone yet. The final judgement is the lake of fire. Anyone who engages in sexual immorality will not go scot-free. Maybe you don’t know the God you serve or the God you are residing on His land. Do you think the earth is a no-man’s-land? There is an Invisible and Invincible God who owns the whole universe.
If you don’t fear anyone, you better fear God and abstain from all manner of sins including sexual immorality. God has a say about our sexual lives. The fact that your libido rises doesn’t mean that you can go around having sex anyhow. If you think you can’t control yourself, you better
marry (1 Corinthians 7:2) but dont don’t marry too because of lust otherwise, you will regret it for the rest of your marriage. This is because you will see more beautiful ladies or handsome men than your spouse after your marriage. Marriage is not an escape route from lust. If you have self-control over lust, then you can overcome sexual immorality at will. You and I can overcome it!!!
