LAYING ON OF HANDS

Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Many people have been victims of spiritual necessity deprival, when they were being aided by some demon-possessed health workers and those who came to see them when we were newly born. Evil spirits being disembodied beings, need bodies to operate in and after one’s birth, the people who come for visitation may be possessed with evil spirits who are tasked to make physical contact with one’s body (laying on of hands) in order to take one’s vision, mission, gift, and spiritual destiny God gave them to use on earth. In this case, many people miss their divine purposes right from the day of their birth and their destinies were changed, thus drawn from their God-given missions.
Also, there are some pastors who are demon-possessed. Some are occultists, free-masons, some also join secret societies who are tasked for breaking down those who are strong in spirit in the Lord God. So, when there is an avenue for impartation and they touch you, they are not giving you spiritual things but they are rather taking what you are already having. Because many people can’t see into the spirit, their lives are worsened even though they are always serving God and fellowshipping in the church, yet their lives are still the same. When you are touched by a true anointed person, your life must be changed. You need to move from one level of grace to another.
In 1 Corinthians 3:16, our bodies are the temple of God. God also uses bodies which are His temples to operate (like evil spirits require bodies to operate also). When God chooses someone, He deposits the Anointing (Holy Spirit) into that vessel that yields gifts. We shouldn’t let the small imperfections of ministers delude us from getting closer to them for our blessings. You are imparted with spiritual things when anointed hands are laid on you. You can’t receive from God when you are not ready to be touched by the anointed hands of good ministers. 1 Timothy 4:14 enlightens us that we need to desire the laying on of hands because it changes the course of our lives and ministries.
In human vessels, God carries out His supernatural agendas. Joshua was full of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. Remember that, Jesus Christ was the Son of God, yet, He humbled Himself for the hands of John the Baptist to be laid upon Him during baptism. When you allow hands to be laid upon you, it shows humility and submission.
