In the Old dispensation, the law that God gave to Moses stipulated that they should not kill (Exodus 20:13). Also, among the six things that the Lord hates, we were entreated not to shed innocent blood in (Proverbs 6:16). Then, what lives are we not obliged to take? There are so many living things among us: Plants, animals and human beings. For plants and animals, the Lord has given them to us for food and other purposes. We don’t sin when we take the lives of plants and animals. Taking the lives of human beings is where the issue lies. Why? This is because we are God’s images. God only has the mandate to take our lives (Deuteronomy 32:39).

Taking people’s lives has become rampant and normal in our system now. Many people kill other people like animals because the conscience of humanity has been corrupted with violence and wickedness. When we talk about murder, we quickly think about the weaponry process of taking our lives and other people’s lives through guns, bombs, sharp objects etcetera but there are many ways one can pass through to take the lives of people. One way people take lives is through abortion and masturbation.
The female version of pregnancy termination is abortion and the male version of pregnancy termination is masturbation, withdrawal method and the wearing of a condom.

Men have sperms that contain babies and when masturbation or practice of withdrawal method of birth control is done without the purpose of medical test, these processes kill the sperms that contain the souls of the babies and God sees such a person as a murderer. Therefore, the sperm that could have become Baby A or Baby B by fertilising with a woman’s ovum, is killed when condoms are also worn. Also, when a female masturbates, it is also a sin. The bible doesn’t support masturbation which is uncleanness. Artificial birth controls (such as withdrawal method as practised by Er and On an in the Bible) are also other ways of aborting pregnancies that are sinful in the sight of God.

Concerning the process of abortion, there are many culprits involved: the guy who pays money for the woman to abort the pregnancy; the woman who goes to the hospital to have the baby aborted; the doctor who performs the abortion and the nurse, or any health personnel who assists the doctor to do this act, are all victims of abortion. God sees all of them as abortionists and murderers. The punishment that awaits a murderer in the judgement day will be the same for the doctor, the nurse, the man, and the woman. If you abort a child, you have aborted God’s heritage (Psalm 127:3) and He will surely punish you here on earth and in the afterlife (lake of fire).

Prayer Diary

1. Lift up prayers for the strength of God to do the works of righteousness, holiness and sanctification more so that the iniquity of abortion can be neutralised.

2. Lift up prayers and revoke every curse of murder that is following you through family altars and generational curses, especially from your father’s side.

3. Bind every evil spirit of murder that led your ancestors to commit bloodshed in the name of Jesus Christ.
