And The Main Text Is Taken From: The Book Of Esther, The Writings, Chapter 2, Verse Number 23, The New King James Version Of The Bible

And I Quote

And when an inquiry was made into the matter, it was confirmed, and both were hanged on a gallows; and it was written in the book of the chronicles in the presence of the king.

Now The Exposition

Inquisition is a severe interrogation, thus, often violating the rights or privacy of individuals. As believers, the book we have to make adequate inquisition about, is the Bible. The Bible is our manual for life. If you don’t inquire about the Word of God, you can be deceived by people in this end time, who present themselves as true Ministers of God, but in reality, they are not. Also, people don’t like their privacies to be intruded, or rights to be violated at all, but little do we know that, evil spirits invade our privacies or rights, without our permission or prior notice. When you are inquisitive about others, the feedback you normally get from these people is that, you should mind your own business.

You can’t love others without inquiring about their welfare. Mordecai, who became Queen Esther’s guardian, when he raised her up after her parents died, joined the security men of the then, White House. This President called King Ahasuerus ruled over Asia and Africa, thus, occupying over 127 provinces, from India to Ethiopia. Can you imagine that, two trusted security men were plotting to assassinate the President? Haman was the one championed this cause. Plots of coup d’états and evil secret plans of getting power, started long ago, as gazetted in the Bible and not now. So if the world has experienced various coup d’etats, it is no news to the believer who knows his or her Bible.

I don’t know how to term it: whether it was coincidence or Godly intervention, but Mordecai who didn’t mind his own business, got to know of this evil secret about Esther, and the entire Jews, by his inquisition. Mordecai was not a prophet to see that Teresh and Bigthan, who were eunuchs, thus, men who have been unsexed to the king, were plotting evil about their President from afar. He got to know of it when he got closer to these plotters, and noted every piece of information he needed to gather. Be careful of those who are closer to you. An enemy was once a bosom friend. A false Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, or Antichrist, was once a true Minister or believer.

In all thine getting, get vigilance! When the King got to know, he also did further investigations into the matter. He didn’t just follow what Mordecai told him. After further inquisition, He got to know the matter was true, and the conspirators were hanged. Through inquisition, someone’s life will be saved. What do you do when you hear rumours about people or about yourself? Maybe what you heard, was not what was actually said. Sometimes there is miscommunication, and representation of false information, the messenger closer to you, is presenting or spreading around. Learn to be like God, who searches or inquires into our matters, even though He knows all things as seen in Psalm 9:12.

Prayer Diary

1. Lift up prayers for the knowledge of every hidden evil plots about your life, Godliness, and ministry and others.

2. Bind every evil spirit that is influencing people you love and people closer to you from executing evil plots against you that are not the will of God in the name of Jesus Christ.

3. Declare that: ‘Any plot of evil against the church, myself, my family, friends, loved ones and nation as a whole is brought to nought in the name of Jesus Christ!’
