Hello Beloved Of Christ
Welcome To The Davidic Blog
Today’s Message As Authored By David Abanquah, under the auspices of God’s inspiration, is entitled as ENMITY
And the key text is taken from Genesis, the first book of Moses, chapter 3, and its verse number 15, The New King James Version Of The Bible
And I Quote
“And I will put ENMITY between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”
Now the exposition
After God cursed the serpent, for allowing Satan to use it as a concealment object for the operation of sin, He pronounced a long-lasting enmity between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman as seen in Genesis 3:15. There are some people who like snakes but, that doesn’t take this enmity out of the equation. Even if everyone would like to relate with serpents, there will still be one person and one snake that will carry on with the enmity God pronounced in the Garden of Eden. Everything will pass, but the Word of God will always abide forever. When Jesus Christ came on the scene, His death was not meant to do away with this curse of enmity between men and serpents.
It was never His intention to neutralise the curse of the Leader of the Godhead, God the Father. Even though He taught us to love our enemies, it was never stipulated in His teaching for us to love serpents. For the knowledge we have about the Garden of Eden, we have depicted serpents as symbols of Satan, and as something which is bad and abhorring, but God used a serpent as a sign of the Saviour, Jesus Christ to save the Israelites in the wilderness, as seen in Numbers 21:8 to 9, and John 3:14. Satan who used a snake to trap man in the Garden of Eden, has also become wise. He has changed his approach to concealment. He no longer uses serpents which we have enmity with.
Rather, he is using human beings who are closer to us, to deceive us into sin. He knows that, when he uses serpents again, we will notice he is at work, and will resist him as we are entreated to do as believers, as seen in James 4:7. In that case, he now operates through our fellow family members, friends, and not those farther from us, so he will catch us off-guard. Those closer to us, have greater influence than strangers, and when they offend us, it becomes difficult naturally to forgive them. Loved ones are dangerous than enemies. That was why Jesus Christ entreated us to love our enemies. You may never know who your real enemy is, until you have perished by him or her.
Peter, who was closer to Jesus Christ and His assistant, became a medium for Satan to use, many times during the ministry of Jesus Christ, our Lord. One time, He denied him three times. Jesus Christ had to intercede on his behalf to prevent him from falling from the faith, as seen in Luke 22:31. Those you love and those who are closer to you, are targets of Satan’s medium of concealment he can use, to cause you to fall at any given time. Beware of those you love, because, they might be vessels of enmity in the making. Live peaceably with all men and be very vigilant because, you don’t know who your real enemy is, whether it is your loved one or it is the one you have condemned as evil?
Prayer Diary
1. Lift up prayers for God to reveal to you anything you lack, or you are oversight about in your Christian life, that makes you imperfect before God.
2. Lift up prayers for deliverance from every concealment technique Satan uses you to accomplish unknowingly by causing the fall of others in the name of Jesus Christ.
Quote
Satan is the only enemy you cannot love. Do your best to resist him every day
