LIFE WAR

Hello beloved of Christ

Welcome to the Davidic Podcast

Today’s message as authored by David Abanquah, under the auspices of God’s inspiration, and narrated by Cassidy, is entitled as LIFE WAR

And the main text is taken from Exodus, the second book of Moses, chapter 17, and its verse number 9, the New King James Version of the Bible

And I Quote

And Moses said to Joshua, “Choose us some men and go out, FIGHT WITH AMALEK. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.”

Now the exposition

War is inevitable in every area of life. War in one’s Christian life, marital life, social life, health life, corporate life, and what have you. The universe was created from war, thus the challenge of building things from scratch by God, and maintaining it after it became dark, formless, and void, and it also takes a war to live within it. God, Himself is a God of war. He fought and overcame the fallen Lucifer who made the earth dark, void, and empty. Do you think if God had sat down without going all out to defeat Satan through the moving over the deep with His Spirit, He would have been able to reshape the universe of its formlessness, voidness, and darkness? Absolutely, not in that regard!

This makes us realise that, the world was created and fashioned from war. Even for Lucifer to be overthrown from heaven, Michael and his angels had to wage war against Satan, and one-third of the heavens he won to his side as seen in Revelation 12:7. You can’t marry the right person without fighting the wars of evil spirits, who fight against godly marriages. There are many people who will come your way as if they are the right ones, but, they may be sent from the devil. After marriage, it takes another step of war to protect your marriage. The evil spirits who fought against you before the marriage, are the ones who will also fight against you after it, so you will divorce and go to hell.

After the Israelites were set free by God through Moses, they had to journey through many routes of war to the Promised Land. The journey looked easier initially, but there were many warfares the Lord didn’t tell them beforehand. The Lord revealed Joseph’s future to him through dreams, but He never revealed to him the three P’s of crisis, that he would face before his success: thus the Pit war, the Purchase war, and Prison war. These were the three wars he had to go through, before he could become the Prime Minister of Egypt. Amalekites were one of the fierce enemies of the Israelites, who nearly prevented them from making it to the Promised Land. No war, no success!

They were thorns in the fleshes of the Israelites, irrespective of the fame of fear the Israelites had throughout the lands. Because they knew of the wars they had to wage against their enemies, they were always ready. There were not taken by surprise by their enemies at all. That made them ahead of their adversaries all the time. There are many wars you need to fight as a believer. I will advise you not to run from them, because only cowards run away from war. Brave ones advance towards their life wars and fight till they win. It is rather good to fight good wars and lose them, than to retreat from wars and think you are a champion. Through Jesus Christ, life wars can be won.

Prayer Diary
1. Lift up prayers for the eyes to see the life wars from afar, so you can prepare beforehand.

2. Lift up prayers for the strength of God to fight life wars and win all the time.

3. Lift up prayers to be relentless in fighting life wars, without stopping or becoming tired or weary.

4. Lift up prayers and bind every evil spirit of fear, intimidation, doubt, and inexperience that weaken your zeal, to fight the wars of life and ministry in the name of Jesus Christ.

Quote
If Israel defeated the Amalekites, there is no fight in life and ministry you can’t win
