ANTICHRIST

Today’s message as authored by David Abankwah, under the auspices of God’s inspiration, is entitled as ANTICHRIST

And the key text is taken from the First Epistle Of John, chapter 2, and its verse number 22 and 23, The New King James Version Of The Bible

And I Quote

Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

Now the exposition

In the latter stages of Jesus Christ’s ministry, He mentioned that the Antichrist would come after Him in the last days. This sign of the end time would be a confirmation that, His second coming to judge the world is imminent. He said that many people would come and claim that, they are the Christ, as seen in Matthew 24:5. Other people would also come, and condemn His name. Others too would prove to the world that, they are the Messiahs by doing exceptional things, that would convince us, as seen in Matthew 24:24. He continued that, we would also hear that, Jesus Christ is found in this location or that on earth, but, we shouldn’t believe these rumours, for such news are fake, as seen in Matthew 24:23.

The truth of the matter is that, when Jesus Christ comes, all eyes will see Him in the sky, because, He will not descend on earth, but, He will suspend in the sky, as seen in Matthew 24:30 to 31. The God who was once hidden but became a man, will reveal Himself for all to know who He really is. Now, not as the Son of man, but as the Son of God. So, turn deaf ears to any rumours about Christ’s appearances, at certain places in this end time. Apostle John also added that, we have heard that an Antichrist is coming, but, we should note that many Antichrists are in the world already, as seen in First John 2:18. As we will know false prophets by their fruits, we will also know Antichrists by their fruits, as seen in Matthew 7:15 to 20.

Antichrist is a spirit that inhabits people. It is one of the fallen angels, who are among the cohorts of Satan. His duty is to spread false rumours about Jesus Christ, as seen in First John 4:3. It doesn’t matter if you are a Christian or not. If you don’t take care, this demon can possess you. Because of the Antichrist, many Christians have turned up to be fierce enemies of Jesus Christ, and have even denied Jesus Christ as the Son of God, as seen in First John 2:19 and 22. When the spirit of Antichrist influences you, you will think your false belief is rather the truth. Words are spirit as seen in John 6:63. If you hear someone saying that, Jesus Christ is not the Messiah, you better get away from that person. You can be influenced.

Because if you don’t leave there, this ‘spiritual virus’ will also infect you, and you will start infecting others with it. Moreover, evil communication corrupts good manners. If you are a Christian who listens to the sermons of an Antichrist-influenced Pastor, you will also be infected by this spirit. Maybe you will not be cured by the antivirus of God’s Spirit, before you pass out. So be very vigilant about teachers of today. Those who do not believe that, Jesus Christ is the Messiah will never have eternal life, as seen in John 3:16. Those who presents the Son only, thus only Jesus movement or monarchianism, but denies the Father and the Holy Spirit, are Antichrists.

Prayer Diary
1. Lift up prayers to hold on to the truth that, Jesus Christ is the true Messiah.

2. Lift up prayers for immunity to neutralise the spirit of Antichrist, that tries to lure you through the physical and spiritual influence of deceit.

3. Lift up prayers for the innate realisation, to notice those who are possessed with the Antichrist, closer to you in sheep’s clothing in the Jesus’ name.
