MAKEUPS
David Abankwah
SERIES: Day 4

Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
-Genesis 1:31 | NKJV

Everything God created in Genesis 1, He saw those things as good. God never said anywhere that what He had created was ugly or beautiful. Even humanity that He created, He didn’t create us to be beautiful or ugly. He created all of us in His image and likeness. So in the creation of God especially in terms of humanity, nothing should be seen as beautiful or ugly but as God’s images. Meaning, man is not the judge concerning the creations of God. God gave us the right to name what He had created but He didn’t say man should determine whether what He had created was nice or ugly. So if you alter your appearance through makeups, you are indirectly telling God He didn’t finish what He had to create so you are helping Him.

If God ever needed our help with creation, He would have called us to help Him but He didn’t. God knew that if anyone was present with Him to help Him with creation, the person would have vaunted that, God was short of ideas and without him creation would not have been possible. Altering the creation of God through makeups is an indication of marking the ‘mistakes’ of God. You are telling Him He had to do something He didn’t recognise of doing. You are the one who has the whole wisdom God is lacking. If He gave you your eyelashes, you have no right to alter it – making it look longer than usual, using pencil which should have been used for writing and making arts on paper.

Why are you making your fingers longer than usual? So is God not wiser enough to make your fingers longer? Naturally, the fingers grow but because of how people have become perversed, they tell God He has made a mistake for giving them nails that is not nice so they are telling Him what He should have done through pedicure and manicure. If many women of this generation should have lived in the Old Testament where a witch was not suffered to live, many women would have been killed by then because their makeups alone makes them look like witches. Woman, if you are a painter, there are many houses in this world that needs to be painted and not your face.

Many women complain they are not having jobs, but what they do to their faces alone means they are working without salaries. Why are you worrying yourself with all the foundations, mascara, and what have you, altering the image of God but your face will never change into that of another person. No matter the amount of makeups you do, you are still person A. Your hair is numbered. Don’t try adding wig and braiding with another hair. God was wise for creating you what you are. Don’t tell Him through your actions that His creation is bad. He will never spare you in the day of judgement. If you are questioned why were you marking His ‘mistakes,’ what answer can you give to Him?

Lift up prayers for forgiveness for any makeups you have done before that was an insult to God and His creation in the name of Jesus Christ.

Quote
Makeups is an insult to God’s creation, telling God that how He created you was evil.
