SERIES: Day 5

Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, PREPARED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK.
-II Timothy 2:21 | NKJV

Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 that, ‘If a man will not work, he shall not eat,’ but it is not every work that is good in the sight of God. There are many jobs that are evil and if you do them, you can never have eternal life. For every work we are doing, it is all because of how we can live physically in this world but what about how eternally should we live when we die physically? If you think more about your soul than your body, you will not just do any work you find at all to do whether it goes against God or not. Let us take note of the work that Jesus Christ was doing secularly before ministry. He was doing a good job of carpentry and not any other evil job because at that time there were many evil jobs out there in Israel.

God who called you from the world to be His child, expects you to cleanse yourself from all manner of sin including the evil job of doing makeups for people, so you will be an instrument for noble purpose, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do good work (2 Timothy 2:21). If your job is cosmetics especially concerning the area that has to do with makeups for events, and you are a believer, then you have to quit such a job. Eternal life is worth more than the peanuts of money you are getting from it as your income. You have to be penalized by God for destroying His images but God being so good, He has kept you alive to hear this message so you can repent.

Many so-called tongue speaking believers who think they are filled with the Holy Spirit will be doing makeups for customers and the Holy Spirit in them can’t prompt them that the job they are doing is against God. How strange, Wow! I don’t know if the Holy Spirit who came on the Apostles is the same Holy Spirit working in our time now for those who do makeups as their secular work. Someone will ponder but I am not destroying my body with makeups, what should I be guilty of sin? Well, you are still destroying the temple of God because your customer’s body was not created by you but by God. It is like buying an alcoholic drink for someone or doing an advertisement for it.

You are not taking in the alcohol into your body but you are guilty of it. Attempting to kill yourself and attempting to kill someone else, is the same crime chargeable as murder. One event that people do makeups and it amuses me is funeral. You are going to mourn someone. What do you need makeups for? If it is not the snatching of someone’s husband, what else? If you don’t lose your job as a makeups designer, don’t ever call yourself a Christian. Which Christian in the Bible ever did makeups as his profession? So-called Christians doing such jobs have written their own Bibles that reads that: ‘if we stop working as makeup designers, what will we eat??
