FRUITFULNESS
David Abankwah
READ: Luke 3:8-9

You will know them by their FRUITS. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
-Matthew 7:16 | NKJV

Knowing a false Authoritarian is not difficult to go by because the Bible has given a simple way to do it in Matthew 7:16. As we concentrate in knowing whether someone is false, we should also concentrate in knowing whether we are also false. We spend time with other’s business while we have issues with God we have to solve. Don’t be a signboard directing people to God while you are always drifting towards the lake of fire. As God wants us to go ye and preach the Gospel to every creature, He also entreats us to do what we preach (James 2:12). We must also preach ourselves and change before we attempt changing people through the saving grace of the Gospel.

Before you can draw someone from the pit, you first have to have a strong standing otherwise both of you will fall into the ditch. As we can know who a false Authoritarian is by keeping a keen eye on their fruitfulness, we can also check ourselves whether or not we are false. No one knows the spirit that is someone except that person. You know yourself more than someone knows you. The fruitfulness you portray is just the piece of the iceberg that people can know who you really are, but it is not enough. You know yourself more because you know all the fruitfulness you portray outside the reach of others. There are certain fruits you don’t bear when you are around people.

It is in your secret place that you yield such fruits. How can someone know this, if God doesn’t reveal through His Word? That is why when people are bearing fruits of sin and they hear their Pastors preaching about it, they think someone has told them to use him as a preaching topic. Some people even get offended and for that matter they leave the church. My friend, when you were in your secret place sinning, was someone there with you recording you for the Pastor? You want to go to church but you don’t want to change. We focus more on knowing a false Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor or Teacher but we are bearing fruits of thornbushes and thistles.

The life you and I are living are fruits we are bearing. One day we will reap what we are sowing. If you sow the seeds of fornication, you will one day reap the fruits of sexual transmitted diseases and infections and you will be condemned to the lake of fire too. Any seed of sin you sow, one day it will yield the fruit of corruption and you will face death as the wage for doing such a work. God is not coming down to stop you from bearing fruits of sin. He has already prepared the wage of every fruitfulness we are bearing and one day we will stand before Him to be judged and we will receive the payment for such fruitfulness. Woe betides you if you sowed seeds of sin and iniquity.

•| Prayer Diary |•
Lift up prayers for the grace to stop the fruitfulness of sin you are bearing so you can be converted to start sowing the seeds of righteousness, holiness, and sanctification in the name of Jesus Christ.

Quote
Every reward of fruitfulness is with God and one day we will receive from Him in the day of judgement
