Now when Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head, and looked through a window.

The mother of all those who do makeups is Jezebel. She was the first woman to do eye shadow and braiding of hair. But the question is that, what was her purpose for doing so? You can’t tell me those who do makeups doesn’t have a reason for doing it. The motive of Jezebel was to present herself seductively to Jehu so she could lure him sexually. Majority of those who do makeups is for lustful reasons. If you are not filled with the spirit of lust, how can you put on lipstick, mascara, eye shadow, attachments of hair such as wigs etc? If you think deeply behind the act of makeups, it is not for the intention of beautifying the body. If you do makeups for beautification purpose, then you have accepted that you are ugly in your own eyes.
God too didn’t create you to see yourself as beautiful or ugly. He created you to see yourself as His image and likeness. So be careful with the sin of makeups all in the name of beautification. If you do makeups, won’t you bath? Won’t you lose the lipsticks, the mascara and the eye shadows? So what then are you worrying yourself doing makeups? Doing makeups to attract men are those who are not Christians. You can’t dress seductively to attract anyone who is filled with the Holy Spirit. It is only foolish men who will succumb to your temptation of makeups. Jehu didn’t succumb to the temptation of Jezebel because he wasn’t an ordinary man. Many of those who do makeups want men to marry.
You should bear in mind that the men you want to marry by doing makeups are not right before God. How can God give you a proper man who will love you for the rest of your life by getting him through makeups? If you have any attraction to give, it must be a righteous life and acts of virtuousness. The Bible says in Proverbs 31:10 that a virtuous wife who can find and not a wife who does makeups who can find? Men, if you see a woman who has done makeups, kindly get some place to hide and don’t be enticed by her because such a woman is cursed in the sight of God. The mother of makeups – Jezebel, was cursed to suffer a fatal death and that is the fate of those who do makeups.
Many women die fatal deaths and you wonder what did they do? One of the reasons is makeups. You are there marking God’s mistakes. He will get you. Many fatal deaths are not the cause of any Satan or evil spirits. It is the doing of the Lord. Is it not Elijah the Tishbite – filled with the Holy Spirit, who prophesied that Jezebel would die a fatal death? Didn’t she die a fatal death by falling from the storey building? Didn’t dogs eat her flesh by leaving only her skull, feet and her palms? It was the doing of God to judge her that way and that is also the judgement for those who engage in Jezebelic acts. People die through fatal accidents and you wonder. If your business is to dress seductively, you will die earlier before your time.
